As Chinatown changes, community leaders push to preserve its historic legacy as a bastion for immigrants – The Boston Globe

Honored to be interviewed by Boston Globe reporter, Deanna Pan, to tell the story of our collective immigrant memory. Ms Pan, the 2019 Pulitzer Prize finalist for feature writing for her series on the unjust execution of 14 year old George Stinney Jr., has written a well-researched and timely piece. She walked the talk, and produced a fine, thorough piece of journalism. I am humbled and touched by her attention and the work our community leaders do to preserve our heritage in Boston Chinatown.
