Artist Collaboration with Public Artist, Gianna Stewart, of Gianna Works, for the Asian Community Development Corporation (ACDC) “Hudson Street Stoops“ Series

Delayed by the pandemic, we launched the first installation, ”Storytell and Sway,” in June 2021. An excerpt from my story “Snow Angels,” etched into a bench swing, is a tribute to my Uncle Eddie Ai Sook, and the sojourner men of Hudson Street and American Chinatowns. Growing up, I thought it normal to have 5 uncles and my Dad take me to the Boston Commons and take photos of me. As an adult, I realized how precious that was, and I honor them for their love and generosity.
